Annual Day of Prayer

April 30, 2008

May 1 is the national day of prayer, May 4 the global day of prayer. April 27 – May 3 is the North Korean Freedom Week with rallies, conferences, prayer meetings for the persecuted church in the Hermit Nation. These observances remind us of the awesome responsibility we have to pray for our leaders and for the church universal, that God’s Kingdom will come to our land and that God’s will be done in our lives and all those with whom we are related.

Apostle Paul commands us to “demolish strongholds…arguments & every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, & we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (II Cor 10:4-5) Let us recommit ourselves to prayer.
